"The Open - Round 2" Monday 2/3/2105

If doing the open....Scratch the previous advice.  We will 5x5 FRONT SQUAT on Wednesday.

35 DB Thrusters 15/10
400 m run
20 Burpees
 

From the Coach...
Good nutrition is intuitive...isn't it?  Ready....
Snickers bar or plain almonds?
Cake or sweet potato?
Rice or spinach salad?
Kway Teow or chicken breast with steamed broccoli?

Many times we hide the fact that "we KNOW how to eat healthy but just don't WANT to"  We do this by....
counting calories
weighing and measuring food
obsessing over portions
over analyzing meal timing
looking for magic formulas or super foods
complicated diets

I am not saying don't educate yourself.  I am not saying don't read and implement the latest research.  All I am saying is start with what you know.  And ignore the other stuff until you are at least doing what is intuitive. 

So here is my advice, eat food.  Real food.  If it's not food, don't eat it.  Lucky Charms cereal is not food.  It is a man made concoction created in a lab.  A banana is food.  Eat it.

When in doubt...meat, vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, no sugar.
